Approximation matters are also corresponds with state programmes in the field of European integration (e.g. “legal approximation component”), namely in the sphere of public informing.

The State Programme on informing of the public on European integration issues for 2004-2007 (coordinated by the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting) had its own annual plans of measures, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

On 2 July 2008 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine issued Regulation No594 approving new mid-term State Target Programme on informing the public on European integration 2008-2011. This Programme represents new approach in terms of European integration in Ukraine providing concrete measures, financing, and indicators of efficiency are already foreseen for the 2008-2011 in the annexes to the Programme.
